GEOTECHNICAL DRILLING AND TESTS
Kimani Exploration & Geotechnical Services Ltd was contracted to conduct vital geotechnical drilling, tests and investigation in Julius Nyerere Hydropower project, Rufiji River. Carried out:

Drilling for Instrumentation work at Power House Area. Addendum were made to include drilling of exploratory boreholes at saddle dam 1,2,3,4 and Additional work (flushing of the borehole, core drilling and single packer for coffer dam).

GEOTECHNICAL INVESTIGATION-UGANDA
Kimani Exploration and Geotechnical Services Limited, in partnership with Geotech Solutions of Uganda, spearheaded the Geotechnical Investigation and Seismic Survey for the prestigious 600MW Hydroelectric Power Project situated in the Karuma area along the River Nile in Uganda. This project was commissioned by Hydrochina Huadong Engineering Corporation, the consulting firm responsible for the dam's design. Our joint effort exemplifies our commitment to delivering expert geotechnical services on an international scale, contributing to the successful execution of this critical hydroelectric power endeavor. CORE DRILLING AND SAMPLING
Embarking on a monumental endeavor, Kimani Exploration and Geotechnical Services led a comprehensive exploration at the Liganga Iron deposits and Ketewaka coalfields in Ludewa District, Njombe Region. Our team conducted precise core drilling over 30,000 meters, establishing 50 kilometers of vital access roads and drill pads, while collecting 5,400 core samples for detailed geological and geotechnical analyses. Managing samples and assay data, we integrated this valuable information into the Acquire Database software for sophisticated modeling. This project showcases our unwavering commitment to in-depth exploration, precise data management, and cutting-edge technological integration."

REVERSE CIRCULATION (RC) DRILLING AT NEW LUIKA GOLD MINING PROJECT-CHUNYA MBEYA.
In, 2025, Kimani exploration and Geotechnical Services Ltd, commenced a contract for the provision of Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling services at the New Luika Gold Mining site, under the esteemed client Shanta Mining Company Limited (SMCL). This ongoing project highlights Kimani's technical expertise, precision and capacity to deliver safe, efficient and innovative drilling solutions specifically tailored to the mining and geotechnical sectors.
The project involves detailed subsurface exploration, geotechnical investigations and high capacity drilling operations specifically RC drilling. The work provides critical data for strategic gold mining operations, resource evaluation and optimized extraction planning, with our advanced drilling equipment, modern technologies and a highly skilled team, Kimani has the capability to handle projects of any scale from small scale exploration to large scale, technically demanding mining assignments.
